TWO-TIME CANADIAN OLYMPIAN, LINDSAY ALCOCK
For ten years, Lindsay Alcock hurtled herself down icy tracks at 130 km/h on her stomach, head-first with a steel sled holding her inches off the ice. Her sport is called Skeleton and it was reintroduced at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Lindsay started the sport in 1998 and in 2004 she became the overall World Cup Champion and silver medalist at the prestigious World Skeleton Championships. She accumulated six World Cup Gold medals and several international push and track records throughout her sport career.

Lindsay finished in 6th place in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, USA and 10th place in the 2006 Olympics in Turin, Italy.

Currently, Lindsay is a Chiropractic student at Palmer Chiropractic College West in San Jose, California. Upon graduation in 2013, Lindsay intends to enroll in the postgraduate Sports Sciences Residency Program offered through the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada). It is her dream to open a Chiropractic clinic specializing in Sports Chiropractic and work towards becoming a member of the medical staff at various Major and Minor Games.
